Truemarkets raised over $4M by selling 15,071 NFTs at $250 each. Vitalik Buterin bought 400 NFTs worth $107K in the public sale.
During its public sale, Truemarkets, the decentralized prediction platform, successfully raised the required amount by selling 15,071 Non-Fungible Tokens. The NFTs were priced at 0.08 Ethereum (ETH), which is approximately $250 per unit. Vitalik Buterin, the co-founder of Ethereum, was one of the purchasers. He acquired 400 NFTs, which are equivalent to 32 ETH, or approximately $107,000.
Oracle Patron NFT and Truth Seeker NFT are the two primary NFTs that Truemarkets has introduced. During the forthcoming token launch event, Oracle Patron NFT holders will have the opportunity to claim 2,666.67 TRUE tokens. The Patron NFT holders will receive 40.3% of the total 100 million TRUE token supply from Truemarkets’ tokenomics.
Increasing interest in prediction markets within the crypto community is illustrated by the Oracle Patron NFT sale, which was sold out. It is posited that it would replicate the success of Polymarket, which was instrumental in predicting the 2024 U.S. elections. By utilizing both artificial intelligence (AI) and human oracles to generate markets around news and entertainment content, Truemarkets allow users to place bets on real-world events.
The NFT sale not only generated substantial funding but also demonstrated the potential of prediction markets to incorporate blockchain technology with real-world applications. Truemarkets has now become a significant competitor in this emerging market. The Ethereum chain, which supports Truemarkets’ NFTs, has been performing well, with a 76.06% increase in its 24-hour trading volume and a current price of $3,331.21.
Furthermore, the Ethereum network experienced a 38% increase in dApp activity, with $3.936B transactions, which was primarily attributed to NFTs and EIP-4844, an Ethereum network upgrade that prioritized scalability.
Truemarkets appears to be prepared to introduce its TRUE token and further its efforts in decentralized prediction platforms, as it has a robust foundation and the backing of notable figures such as Buterin.
