Google introduces PixelSnap, its MagSafe-style magnetic charging system designed to simplify power and accessory use for Pixel devices.
Google has introduced PixelSnap, its version of “MagSafe,” which enables magnetic accessories to function with the Pixel 10 series of devices that were recently released.
The company’s announcement was made nearly five years after Apple unveiled its assortment of magnetic accessories with the iPhone 12 in 2020.
The Pixel 10 can be equipped with wireless adapters, stands, grips, and other accessories via PixelSnap, according to the company. It is also introducing its own PixelSnap cases and compatible accessories.
A Ring Stand is the most basic accessory. It is attached to the phone puck-like and can be used as a stand by pulling the ring.

All new Pixel devices support the Qi2 wireless standard. The Pixel 10 Pro XL is compatible with 25W wireless charging, while the Pixel 10, 10 Pro, and 10 Fold all have 15W wireless charging compatibility.

Google is introducing a new PixelSnap charger and an optional mount. The standalone charger can be utilized while the phone is at rest, or the stand can be employed to display home control icons or operate the phone while it is charging.

The PixelSnap Ring Stand is priced at $29.99, the PixelSnap cases begin at $49.99, and the PixelSnap charger is priced at $39.99 and $69.99.
In addition to certain MagSafe accessories, the Pixel 10 series phones are compatible with automotive mounts, chargers, and accessories from Made for Google partners, according to Google.
