Aethir’s Decentralized GPU Generates $36M Revenue

Aethir’s Decentralized GPU Generates $36M Revenue

After the first year of Aethir’s Decentralized GPU service, the revenue has been revealed to be worth $36 million by the company.

The revenue figures for the first year of Aethir, the decentralized GPU platform, have reached an astonishing $36 million. The decentralized graphics processing unit (GPU) network is experiencing a 10% month-on-month growth rate due to the increasing demand for cloud computing, artificial intelligence, and edge computing capacity, according to the GPU-as-a-service provider.

Aethir asserts that it is the world’s sole enterprise-grade GPU-as-a-service decentralized physical infrastructure network (DePIN). The company offers GPU computing services that are highly scalable and 60% less expensive than those of top market competitors like Amazon Web Services. Additionally, Aethir offers distributed infrastructure to optimize the utilization of idle GPU capacity.

Aethir’s GPU capacity is sourced from tier 3 and tier 4 data centers, the highest quality tiers, which are expected to have an uptime of 99.982%, according to a spokesperson for the company. Mark Rydon, the Head of Strategy and Co-Founder of Aethir commented on the development:

“GPUs have become the backbone of modern computing, but not everyone can access it. This limits innovation and creates systems of bias that prevent people from accessing and building new products and solutions using the latest technology. There are serious evolving needs across many industries that traditional cloud providers just can’t serve. As AI and cloud computing continue to transform, we look forward to growing the pool of resources to democratize access to enable cutting-edge developments.”

Decentralized GPUs from Aethir are in high demand

Aethir’s decentralized GPU capacity has been in high demand, with players such as TensorOpera AI utilizing it to train a 750-million-parameter AI model for 30 consecutive days. Additionally, Aethir has been integrated into game development and other publishing platforms, including Sequence, gameSwift, and MetGravity.

APhone, a Solana-based application, was introduced by the Aethir network. It enhances outmoded smartphones by offering access to new on-chain services for a nominal fee of $20 per year. APhone is platform-agnostic and designed similarly to Android. Its app store includes Web3 and Web2 applications, such as WhatsApp, Instagram, and ChatGPT.

During the $146-million node sale, Aethir’s testnet was home to 500,000 users, including industry leaders such as Super Micro, Nvidia, HPE, and Foxconn. It initiated its network on the Ethereum mainnet in June.

The native ATH coin employs Ethereum for staking and Ethereum layer-2 Arbitrum for provider payments and community rewards. ATH may be invested in the entertainment-oriented Sophon ZK chain. At the time of writing, each token was valued at $0.0755, with a total supply of 42 billion ATH.
