Apple May Release $2,000 Vision Headset in 2025

Apple may introduce a $2,000 Vision headset in 2025, offering advanced features and technology in its latest wearable device

Apple is not abandoning headsets that integrate the digital and physical realms, even though the Vision Pro has not substantially altered the market.

According to a recent report by Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, Apple’s next significant mixed reality release could occur as early as next year.

The Vision headset, which is priced at approximately $2,000, is not exactly inexpensive, but it is more affordable than the $3,500 Vision Pro.

In order to accomplish this price, Apple would employ a less powerful processor and less expensive materials. Additionally, the EyeSight feature, which displays the user’s eyes outside the headset, would be excluded.

In 2026, a second-generation Vision Pro is anticipated, followed by the prospective release of smart glasses (similar to Meta’s Ray-Bans) and AirPods with cameras in 2027.

The same report provides an update on Apple’s connected home strategy.

The organization has also encountered limited success in this regard; however, there are rumors that there are plans to develop “an affordable iPad-like screen” that could be positioned throughout the residence to view television, conduct FaceTime conversations, and utilize applications.

This would be succeeded by a tabletop device that includes a robot limb and is expected to cost approximately $1,000.
