Apple Music’s replacement is already available as customers worldwide anticipate Spotify Wrapped stats
Apple Music Replay, like Spotify Wrapped, highlights consumers’ top songs, artists, and albums from the year.
Other highlights of this year’s Replay include “listening streaks” that indicate users’ longest stretch of streaming music days.
Replay also says when you first heard your favorite song, artist, and album of the year.
Replay shows your top songs, artists, and albums by month. Replay also shows “top artist streaks” if an artist has been your #1 artist for numerous months.
Apple is introducing two new categories to Replays to show consumers if they are in the top 500 or 1,000 listeners of an artist or genre.
You can listen to your most-played tracks in your unique Replay 2024 playlist after reviewing your music highlights.
Apple is bringing Replay to its mobile app for iOS 18.1 or later users this year. This was previously only available online. If so, you can access your Replay from the Home, New, and Search tabs in Apple Music.
Replay can be accessed online on mobile or desktop for older OS systems and Android.
This year, Apple Music is adding a Replay tool for artists like Spotify’s Artist Wrapped. The tool shows artists how long Apple Music subscribers have listened to their music in the past year.
Artists can see their listeners. Plus, they can observe which cities listen to their music most and which tune Shazam discovered most.
A week after YouTube’s 2024 Recaps, Apple Music’s Replay launches. Both firms’ year-end features appeared before Spotify’s, perhaps to get a jump on music-related social media sharing.
