Apple will reveal its iPhone 16 lineup on September 9, following the distribution of press invites on Monday, despite earlier reports suggesting the event would be held on September 10
Apple is employing the tagline “It’s Glowtime” for the event, which is scheduled to occur at the Steve Jobs Theater in Apple Park at 10 a.m. PT/1 p.m. ET.
Rumors regarding the event’s content have persisted for the past few weeks and months, as is customary.
For example, reports have indicated that the iPhone 16 lineup will feature a new button dedicated to taking photographs and larger screens on the Pro models.
The purpose of the feature is to facilitate the acquisition of content in landscape mode. Previously, the Action Button was exclusively available on the iPhone 15 Pro line; however, it is anticipated that all iPhone 16 variants will be released with it.
Additionally, the Apple Watch Series 10 may be introduced at the event, which is rumored to feature a larger screen and a new processor that will enhance the device’s performance. It is also possible that two distinct versions of the new AirPods will be released.
It is also anticipated that the phones will be compatible with Apple’s suite of AI features, known as Apple Intelligence, which were unveiled earlier this year.
Furthermore, it is probable that Apple will implement iOS 18, iPadOS 18, macOS Sequoia, watchOS 11, and its other significant operating system enhancements shortly following the event.
