Apple announces plans to replace Chief Financial Officer Luca Maestri in 2025, marking a significant leadership transition within the company
Apple today disclosed that Luca Maestri, its Chief Financial Officer, will relinquish his executive position on January 1. After 11 years at Apple, Kevan Parekh, the current VP of Financial Planning, will be promoted to CFO.
Maestri has served as Apple’s chief financial officer since 2014 and is currently transitioning to a new position within the organization. He will be directly accountable to CEO Tim Cook in this new position.
Cook stated in a press release that Maestri will continue to serve as the head of the corporate services division, which includes real estate and information security.
Apple did not explain this change but said it was “part of a planned succession.”
