Arc Launches 24-Foot Electric Boat

Arc debuts a 24-foot electric boat, its most affordable model to date, offering sleek design, quiet performance, and zero-emission cruising

Arc, an electric boat startup, has introduced a new model that is its most affordable and accessible watercraft.

The Arc Coast is the name of the new yacht, which is expected to be priced at $168,000. The Coast will be available for shipment in 2026, and the company is currently accepting preorders.

The Coast is classified as a “center console” yacht and is frequently employed for fishing. It is the third model produced by the company, following the limited edition $300,000 Arc One and the $268,000 Arc Sport (which I had the opportunity to operate earlier this year). This is even though the organization emerged from covert only four years ago.

To fulfill the ambitious pledge of founder and CEO Mitch Lee to electrify all watercraft, Arc has also recently disclosed that it is developing an electric tow boat for the Port of Los Angeles.

The Coast is powered by the same 226kWh battery pack Arc designed for the Sport and is approximately the exact dimensions, according to the company.

The Coast can be powered at a maximum speed of approximately 50 miles per hour. It should have a battery life of four to five hours, or even longer, depending on the amount of power used by the 400 horsepower available. The vehicle can accommodate up to ten passengers.

The configuration is the primary distinction between the Coast and the Sport, in addition to the price. The “console” or helm of the boat is located in the center, which enables it to move more freely around the margins, as its name suggests.

It appears to possess the same level of fit and finish as Arc’s other boats, which were impressive even on the production-intent Sport I tested in January. The software on the center console’s displays has also been extensively developed by Arc, resulting in a minimalist design that is replete with information.

In addition to the aforementioned benefits, such as the absence of fumes, winterization, and reduced commotion, it is feasible to envision individuals justifying the still exorbitant price tag when it is introduced to the market next year.
