The program aims to provide high school pupils in Buenos Aires with an understanding of Ethereum and blockchain technology.

According to a recent release, the ETH Kipu Foundation and the Argentine Ministry of Education are collaborating to include blockchain technology and Ethereum into the high school curriculum in Buenos Aires.

The program aims to provide high school pupils in Buenos Aires with an understanding of Ethereum and blockchain technology. This action is anticipated to put Argentina ahead of other Latin American nations and prepare the participants for a tech-driven economy.

Paula D., co-founder of ETH Kipu, stressed that this initiative will put Argentina at the forefront of the global blockchain movement and open up new job options for youth.

She continued, saying:

“By integrating Ethereum education into high schools, we’re not just teaching students about technology—we’re giving them the tools to shape the future.”

Ethereum instruction

High school students in Buenos Aires can take part in internships with blockchain startups starting on August 27.

Furthermore, the initiative provides 500 students 18 and older with an online Solidity course. This course aims to equip students with the knowledge and abilities required to create dApps on the Ethereum platform.

Thirty city educators will be trained to teach Ethereum and blockchain subjects to guarantee the program’s success. It may be possible to extend the framework created by this project to other areas.

Another ETH Kipu co-founder, Romina, was enthusiastic about the project’s advancement. She said:

“It started a few months ago, with classes for +100 articulators from the Ministry of Education, then with a launch event for 200 high school students and now it is taking shape with these 3 action points mentioned in the document.”

Education about crypto

This aligns with a global movement to promote blockchain technology and cryptocurrency education.

Several institutions have developed blockchain education in Africa and other places to prepare people for the digital age through cutting-edge learning possibilities. One such institution is Tether, which issues the USDT stablecoin.

A Bitcoin training and certification program for 80,000 public officials was introduced in El Salvador.

Market watchers predict that these educational initiatives will result in more innovation and blockchain use.
