It’s surprising, but not completely shocking, that Beats is now making cases for the iPhone 16
After all, Apple bought the company that made headphones 10 years ago in May. Many people thought that the main point of the deal would be to turn the Beats Music streaming service into an Apple-branded service. However, Apple seems to have mostly let Beats do its own thing after that.
They cost $49 and work with MagSafe and the new Camera Control button on the iPhone. Polycarbonate is used to make them, and soft fibers are inside. Soon after the FineWoven line went away, these came out. They look like a straight replacement for those cases that were easy to scratch. Beats says the new cases are “treated with a glossy scratch-resistant coating for extra protection,” meaning they shouldn’t get scratched up like the old ones did.
