Bitget Sponsors La Liga

On Thursday, Bitget disclosed that it had signed an agreement with the Spanish football league La Liga to become its official crypto partner.

This collaboration unveiled at Token2049 in Singapore, emphasizes Bitget’s entrance into the sports sector in Eastern and Southeast Asia and Latin America.

The exchange stated that the multi-million dollar agreement provides exclusive benefits to both parties and is consistent with the shared “Make It Count” philosophy.

The Influence of La Liga on Football Icons

The careers of numerous football icons have been significantly influenced by La Liga, Spain’s premier football division, affecting the global perception of the sport.

Lionel Messi is frequently considered one of the greatest footballers of all time. He primarily competed for Barcelona, where he achieved many titles and broke the record for the most goals scored in La Liga.

“As the sports industry continues to embrace digital innovation, crypto, blockchain, and emerging technology are becoming increasingly important components of this transformation,” stated Gracy Chen, CEO of Bitget.

“Our collaboration with LALIGA enables us to expedite the expansion of crypto in the sports industry, thereby creating novel opportunities for athletes and fans.”

Sports and Crypto Companies Fortify their Connections

The increasing prominence of crypto sponsors in sports reflects the mainstream use of digital currencies in daily life. The beneficial partnerships between sports organizations and crypto corporations are the primary factor driving this increase.

UEFA initiated a campaign to secure crypto sponsorships for the 2024-2027 men’s Champions League cycle earlier this year. Consequently, Crypto.com was designated as the tournament’s inaugural and exclusive global crypto platform associate.

La Liga had previously engaged in an additional cryptocurrency transaction. In 2021, it established a multi-year partnership with Divi Labs, designating Divi as the official crypto wallet for La Liga in the MENA, Southeast Asia, and China regions.
