Celebrity Memecoin Promoter, Sahil Arora Banned By X

Social media platform X has deactivated the “@Habibi_Comm” account of Sahil Arora, who despite mounting scam allegations and social media bans continues to promote celebrity memecoins and partnerships, reportedly a serial scammer

The account has been associated with manipulating screenshots depicting conversations with Iggy Azalea, an Australian musician. It has also been used to promote celebrity memecoins linked to fraudulent claims, violating the platform’s regulations.

Arora has been accused publicly of schemes involving memecoins promoted under the names of Olympic swimmer Caitlyn Jenner and American rapper Rich the Kid (Dimitri Leslie Roger). In response, Azalea distanced herself from Arora and launched her cryptocurrency.

Despite the allegations, Arora has continued to promote purportedly fraudulent collaborations and introduce additional celebrity memecoins.

On June 3, Arora announced a partnership with BingX, an affiliation the cryptocurrency exchange refutes.

“We are not collaborating with him,” a BingX representative wrote in a LinkedIn message.

Arora subsequently promoted a second celebrity memecoin initiative centered around American hip hop artist Offset (Kiari Kendrell Cephus), who has joined the celebrity bandwagon to accuse Arora of fraud.

However, screenshots of messages obtained by Cointelegraph indicate that Offset and Arora had previously interacted.

According to a Solana-based memecoin initiative that spoke to Cointelegraph on the condition of anonymity, Arora allegedly introduced the two parties to Offset in March.

The artist allegedly served as an intermediary between the two parties when the memecoin initiative attempted to promote their cryptocurrency.

Arora provided the address to which the memecoin initiative transferred $20,000; however, Offset asserted that he had yet to obtain the funds.

The memecoin initiative asserts that Offset and Arora’s Habibi_Comm accounts have since been blocked.

It is believed that Arora maintains multiple accounts on X despite the ban, and his Telegram channel has been observed directing followers to a new account.

Before his social media suspension, Arora recently advertised his relationships with boxing legend Floyd Mayweather and actress Lindsay Lohan.
