Chromia has teamed up with Chasm Network, which is based in Mantle, to improve the openness of decentralized AI by using its blockchain to handle data
A blockchain platform called Chromia, which works on layer 1, has revealed a technical partnership with Chasm Network to make AI systems more open and accountable.
Chromia told crypto.news on Monday, Oct. 21, in a press release that as part of this partnership, it will use a decentralized app already running on Chromia’s mainnet to act as a decentralized database layer for AI inference data.
Based in Mantle, Chasm Network also announced that its token, Chasm AI, will be released on October 24. However, it is still unclear what role it will play in the relationship. Chromia’s head of business development, Yeou Jie, said the partnership “improves secure and efficient data management for complex use cases, such as decentralized AI.”
Big tech companies will mesh Bitcoin and AI.
As the area where AI and blockchain technology meet continues to change, big tech companies are making it clear that they are ready to get involved. Samsung just recently said that it wants to use blockchain in more ways to make its AI-powered home products safer.
Through a blog post, Samsung stated that this project will bring its Knox Matrix framework to a wider range of home appliances already used on phones and TVs. A private blockchain is used in this framework to make a “Trust Chain.” This lets devices linked to each other look for security threats and let users know when problems happen.
