Cristiano Ronaldo’s rumored CR7 meme coin fuels buzz in crypto, leaving investors wary as scammers seize the opportunity.
The debate around Portuguese soccer player Cristiano Ronaldo’s introduction of a meme coin is causing a stir in the cryptocurrency industry.
U.S. President Donald Trump and other celebrities have been interested in this $4 trillion sector.
The focus is currently on Ronaldo’s CR7 token, while well-known musician and artist Kanye West introduced his YZY meme currency a few days ago.
Cristiano Ronaldo Is Reportedly Launching Meme Coin
Numerous X accounts have been posting purported launch posts, and rumors of Cristiano Ronaldo introducing a parody coin named CR7 have swept over the cryptocurrency industry.
Interestingly, these posts are chock-full of eye-catching announcements, such as performance forecasts for the coin and more.
Some even predicted it to rank among the most popular meme currencies available.
At the time of writing, though, it is only a rumor.

Notably, Ronaldo and his group have not confirmed the CR7 token launch, indicating that it is only a rumor.
Ronaldo’s collaboration with Binance to introduce the “Forever to the Moon” NFT collection may have given rise to this rumor.
These tokens, however, are merely a small group of non-fungible tokens and are unrelated to the launch of the meme coin, aside from the excitement that followed Kanye West’s introduction of the YZY token, which became the subject of a significant dispute.
Since insiders gained control and began pumping and dumping the token, investors are expressing tremendous displeasure.
Rumors Spark Wave Of Counterfeit Cristiano Ronaldo Tokens
For some months, there have been reports that Ronaldo would introduce a token.
Consequently, there are already several CR7-named coins available on the market, such as Ronaldo Coin, CR7DAO, and numerous others.
None, though, is connected to the soccer player.
The Ronaldo Coin’s market capitalization reached $100 million in a matter of minutes after someone posted for it, according to cryptocurrency investor Loudspotter.
But when it was discovered to be fraudulent, the promoters immediately removed the tweet and ruined the currency.

Gordon said that only insiders like him would profit from Ronaldo Coin, implying that others would lose unless they had insider knowledge or early CA.
The only people who will make money from the Ronaldo coin are insiders (like me)
If you do not have early CA or inside info you will lose money.
Do you understand?

There is no truth to the reports that Cristiano Ronaldo will start a meme coin.
Furthermore, neither the soccer player nor his management team has given any indications about a possible launch.
Investors need to be on the lookout for fraudsters and phony token launches.
