Doodles Unveils Solana-Based Token DOOD with Community Airdrop
Doodles said in a Thursday social media post that 30% of the 10 billion will go to the Doodles community, 25% to its ecosystem fund, 17% to the team, 13% to “new blood,” 10% to cash, and 5% to the company. In the future, the team also wants to connect the coin to the Layer 2 Base that Coinbase is taking care of.
The latest NFT project to announce a token airdrop is Doodles, which comes after Pudgy Penguins. Solana launched Pudgy Penguins‘ PENGU token in December 2024. There are a total of 88,888,888,888 of them.
At first, Doodles was just a 10,000-piece NFT collection. Since then, it has grown to include cartoons, music, and even a partnership with McDonald’s. The Block’s Data Dashboard shows that between February 2 and February 9, Doodles made $2.46 million in trades.
