Elon Musk publicly denied any formal agreement hours after Durov announced that Telegram and xAI had reached a one-year partnership to integrate Grok across all Telegram applications.

In an earlier post, Durov asserted that the integration would be implemented this summer, thereby enhancing the financial position of the platform and providing Grok’s AI capabilities to Telegram’s billion-plus users.
The Toncoin (TON) community was initially ecstatic by the announcement, which resulted in a 10% increase in the token’s value to $3.45. Musk responded explicitly on X at 22:29 UTC, stating, “No deal has been signed.”
The value of TON experienced an immediate reversal. It experienced a significant decline from $3.45 to $3.27 within 30 minutes. The 1-hour chart shows a significant decline even though the token has maintained an 8% daily increase.
The market may experience additional declines without clarification from either party.
Investors have been perplexed by the contradictory messages. The lack of alignment between the two tech executives raises concerns about credibility and communication breakdowns despite Telegram’s failure to issue an official follow-up.
Toncoin, which is inextricably linked to Telegram’s blockchain ecosystem, frequently responds to changes within the application.
Some traders anticipate a more substantial correction as speculative interest unwinds if the Grok integration fails to materialize.
