Google Develops AI that Detects Illness by Sound

Google is developing AI technology that can detect signs of illness by analyzing sound, aiming to enhance early diagnosis and healthcare outcomes

It may not surprise you that Google, in addition to other organizations, is utilizing sound signals to anticipate the onset of disease, given the extensive information you have already heard about AI.

In what manner? Bloomberg reports that Google has utilized 300 million audio files, including coughs, sniffles, and labored respiration, to train its foundation AI model.

This model is capable of identifying individuals who are afflicted with tuberculosis, for instance.

It has partnered with Salcit Technologies, a respiratory healthcare AI startup based in India, to integrate this technology into devices.
