Hackers have infiltrated an online course that was established by Andrew Tate, a self-described misogynist and purported influencer
The compromise has resulted in the disclosure of data on nearly 800,000 users, including private user chat logs and thousands of email addresses.
The Daily Dot, which reported the news on Thursday, stated that the hackers accessed the user data and subsequently inundated the online course’s chatroom with emojis.
These emojis included a transgender flag, a feminist fist, an AI-generated image of Tate draped in a rainbow flag, and another image that enlarged his buttocks, among others.
The hacktivists submitted the compromised data on the course’s users to The Daily Dot, which then forwarded the records to Have I Been Pwned, a data breach notification site, and DDoSecrets, a nonprofit collective that archives leaked datasets for the public interest.
Tate is currently under house arrest in Romania, where he is awaiting prosecution on charges of human trafficking and rape, according to the BBC.
