IBM, Casper Labs Launch Prove AI for AI Data

Integrating IBM wastonx.governance and blockchain-based Casper Labs’ new product, Prove AI, will improve access, versioning, and security.

Casper Labs, a blockchain-based services and software provider, will have its Prove AI product integrated with the “Watson. governance” platform from IBM. At the IBM Think conference, Casper Labs CEO Mrinal Manohar disclosed that Prove AI has likewise secured its inaugural design partner.

Through audit logs, Prove AI will provide security, version control, multiparty access control, and advanced auditing capabilities for training generative artificial intelligence (AI) data sets.

The solution was developed by Casper Labs utilizing its Casper blockchain, which functions in both permission and permissionless networks. Casper Labs informed Cointelegraph that “Prove AI” is integrated into the IBM service and can be added to Watson.governance.

“As regulators begin to demand greater accountability from AI-using businesses, businesses have an immediate and clear need to de-risk AI initiatives,” Manohar said.

Prove AI will enable, among other things, the reversion to prior versions of data sets for diagnosing hallucinations, bias, and other performance issues.

The AI governance solution was jointly developed with IBM Consulting under the terms of a January-announced agreement. Its purpose was to capitalize on the analytics and policy enforcement capabilities that IBM already possessed.

Compliance with industry regulator-established standards or legislation, such as the European Union’s AI Act, enacted in March, may constitute governance.

GreyscaleAI will be the initial “design partner” of Prove AI. The California-based company designs develops and oversees inspection systems for the pharmaceutical, food, and beverage sectors by identifying packaging errors and foreign substances in products via high-resolution X-ray imaging and AI algorithms.

GreyscaleAI intends to implement the Prove AI prototype version. It is anticipated that the comprehensive Prove AI launch will occur during the third quarter of 2024.

Additionally, IBM announced it. Consider that the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority and Watsonx collaborated on integrating the ALLaM Arabic text generation model. Within the next five years, IBM anticipates that up to 7,800, or 30%, of its back-end employees will be replaced by AI.

In 2020, Casper Labs introduced its blockchain, which replaced Ethereum. Casper Labs introduced its native CSPR token in 2021, which has garnered significant attention from investors.

January 4 marked the year-high trading price of $0.056 for CSPR, which, as of this writing, was $0.030 on May 21 with a market capitalization of $355 million and a volume of $10 million.
