Jeff Bezos's Blue Origin to Launch 6 Tourists

The founder of Amazon announced that the space tourism program will resume in 2022 with the first flight

According to Space, the spacecraft business Blue Origin, which Jeff Bezos owns, has announced that it will take people on tour outside of Earth for the first time since Space.

On Sunday, the company’s West Texas location will be the location from which the mission known as NS-25 will be launched in a live webcast demonstration.

The voyage will last for eleven minutes and allow those interested in Space to observe the Earth in contrast to the darkness of Space. Additionally, they will get the chance to feel weightless for a brief period.

The journey will be carried out using the New Shepard vehicle, a reusable rocket and capsule combination. The rocket and capsule are both components of the New Shepard vehicle.

The rocket will return to Earth in a vertical position at some point after liftoff, while the crew carrying the capsule will return to Earth after traveling through Space with the assistance of a parachute.

The capsule will transport six passengers, one of whom is a sculptor who is 90 years old. In 1961, he made history by being the first Black astronaut candidate in the United States, but he was never selected for the mission.

This will be the 25th New Shepard launch to date and will be NS-25. On the other hand, this will be the vehicle’s seventh crew launch and be doing robotic research missions.

In August 2022, Blue Origin conducted its final space trip, comprised of tourists.
