Lamborghini has partnered with Animoca Brands to develop its first blockchain-based digital vehicles that are interoperable and compatible with Web3 games.

The premium automaker Lamborghini has revealed “Fast ForWorld,” a Web3 framework that would enable the usage of its vehicles in blockchain games.

The automaker partnered with Web3 gaming startup Animoca Brands on October 2. The project is Lamborghini’s “first interoperable blockchain-based implementation” of their legendary vehicles in video games, according to Animoca’s statement.

Fast ForWorld is the name of the digital collectible platform that the two businesses will develop. The digital vehicle ecosystem operated by Motorverse, a subsidiary of Animoca Brands, will be integrated with the platform.

According to the statement, players of several Motorverse games can purchase, trade, and operate Lamborghini vehicles. These include Fast ForWorld’s exclusive experience, REVV Racing, the Motorverse Hub, and Torque Drift 2.

Additionally, Animoca Brands announced that the initial release of Fast ForWorld will be on November 7. The app will provide a 3D wallet where users can keep goods and a means to play and communicate with their virtual autos.

On August 8, Lamborghini initially declared that it was exploring new Web3-based brand interaction efforts through its partnership with Animoca Brands. The collaboration intends to provide customers and enthusiasts of the automaker with exclusive Web3 digital experiences.

One of the first companies to adopt the Motorverse interoperability standards is Lamborghini, according to Yat Siu, co-founder and executive chairman of Animoca Brands. Siu stated:

“This partnership allows us to create a truly interconnected Web3 gaming experience for motorsports fans and gamers alike. Lamborghini collectibles will be easily accessible and playable across various virtual environments, including two of our own motorsports games.”

The executive said that the collaboration will establish a standard for digital engagement and act as a template for interoperable digital cars.

The collaboration takes place when millions of people are still playing Web3 games. The clicker game Hamster Kombat on Telegram revealed on July 30 that it has onboarded over 300 million users. In the meantime, Catizen, a different Telegram clicker game, reported 800,000 paying customers in its first half-year.

Puma enters the Web3 gaming space.

As gaming draws millions of players, brands profit from Web3 gaming’s popularity. In addition to Lamborghini, I have recently teamed up with the Web3 soccer game UNKJD and shoe retailer Puma.

Through the collaboration, Puma will be included in in-game material, resulting in the development of Puma-based characters with access to new abilities and skins.
