LinkedIn CEO says its AI writing assistant isn’t as popular as expected, highlighting limitations in adoption and user engagement.

Roslansky disclosed to Bloomberg, “It is not as well-received as I anticipated.” He contended that the “barrier is much higher” to posting on LinkedIn because “this is your resume online,” when questioned as to why.

Additionally, users may encounter genuine criticism if they publish content overtly determined by artificial intelligence.

“If you are being criticized on X or TikTok, that is one thing,” he continued. However, the act of being publicly criticized on LinkedIn has a significant effect on one’s capacity to generate economic opportunities for oneself.

Simultaneously, Roslansky observed that the professional social network has experienced a sixfold increase in positions requiring AI-related skills in the past year. In contrast, the number of users who have added AI skills to their profiles has increased by twentyfold.

Additionally, he revealed that he employs AI to ensure that he communicates effectively with his superior.
