The dramatic rise in Zoom screen-share visibility, with up to a million viewers now able to catch every slip and stumble in real-time
On Monday, Zoom introduced a new single-user webinar feature limited to 1 million attendees.
The inclusion takes place less than a month after the #WinWithBlackWomen fundraiser for Vice President Kamala Harris reached its maximum of 44,000 users before experiencing a collapse.
In recent times, an interview between Donald Trump, Harris’ opponent, and X’s proprietor, Elon Musk, was crashed before its launch.
Zoom’s Event Services is providing live support due to the audience capabilities of its new feature, which is available in 10,000, 50,000, 100,000, 250,000, and 500,000 flavours.
The Zoom representatives will “ensure that hosts provide a professional, engaging experience” and, it is presumed, prevent the platform from collapsing under its weight.
