Pinnit Android App Enables Searching Notification History

Stay organized and never miss a notification on Android; Pinnit helps you manage and search through your notification history, ensuring you’re always up-to-date

With Pinnit’s notifications history tool, you can see notifications that you missed. The app also lets you make your notifications.

Eduardo Pratti, a Brazilian artist and Indian Android developer Sasikanth Miriyampalli, created the app. In 2020, the app came out. It lets users pin chores to the notification bar to avoid forgetting about them.

New versions of Pinnit have been made, and one of the significant[ features of these new versions is notification history. This lets you see all the messages you’ve turned off and even search through them. You can also sort notifications by when they were sent or by when they were received. You can also hide some app messages to make the screen look better. You can choose a date for which to look at alerts, too.

“Adding notification history was always in the app’s plan, but we couldn’t build it then.” We had to start from scratch for this function and the new UI and dynamic themes when we made the latest app version, Miriyampalli told TechCrunch in an email.

People often missed important jobs and reminders because their phones were full of notifications. That’s why the app was made.

Users can make a persistent notice that they don’t want to forget from other notifications without losing the content of the original notification. The app also lets you create your notice with a title and description, which works like a reminder.

By setting a reminder, you can use this to hold on to a missed call or email you want to answer later. You can also pin a note about a game that’s still going on to check the score quickly. Custom alerts are mainly used as to-do lists, but developers plan to add more features to them in the future.

Miriyampalli said that in the next few months, the developers will add new features like reminders based on location, privacy settings that let you filter alerts based on words, app widgets, and support for giant screens.

After the 14-day trial, Pinnit costs $1.99 all at once.
