Pinterest Launches GenAI Tools for Products

Picture Ideas and a shopping site Pinterest is the latest tech company to offer generative AI goods to its advertisers

Google, Amazon, and other companies have already done this. Tuesday was Pinterest Presents for advertisers, and the company showed off new features for its Pinterest Performance+ suite. This package includes both automation and AI. And the second one will now let marketers use lifestyle images on white, blank, or flat backgrounds.

According to Pinterest, the new feature, which goes live on Tuesday, will help businesses improve their Pinterest Product Pins (ads) and get more clicks.

It’s not just Pinterest that uses generative AI to change images of goods. Still, it’s quickly becoming one of the standard services advertisers can get because images can be rapidly improved with just a few simple instructions. Amazon gave advertisers a tool almost a year ago that let them describe the backgrounds of pictures for their goods. Google then released its tools around the same time, making it easy to change the scenes or colors in the background.

Another change is that Pinterest Performance+ bidding will let you optimize for the best value instead of just clicks or conversions.

Pinterest said that Performance+ campaigns for Consideration, Conversions, or Catalog Sales goals will now be available to all marketers worldwide.
