PlasmaCon 2024: INTMAX Aiming to Improve Blockchain Mining

At the PlasmaCon 2024 event, INTMAX is bringing together a team of experts in the crypto industry to work on making blockchains easier to mine.

PlasmaCon is a unique event conducted with the esteemed EDCON Tokyo 2024 conference. INTMAX, a stateless Ethereum layer two solutions, is bringing together the most brilliant minds in the blockchain industry. Plasma, a once-prominent Ethereum scaling solution proposed by Vitalik Buterin, co-founder of Ethereum, is the subject of this builder-focused event designed to reignite discussions.

Speakers at the PlasmaCon Event

The United Nations University in Tokyo is where the event is scheduled on July 31. Vitalik Buterin, Justin Drake, and Barry Whitehat, researchers of the Ethereum Foundation, will be among the distinguished presenters at PlasmaCon.

Other notable figures include Scott Moore, the inventor of Public Works and co-founder of Gitcoin; Suji Yan, the founder of Mask Network; and Leona Hioki, a plasma researcher and co-founder of IMAX.

PlasmaCon guarantees an interactive and intimate experience with a maximum capacity of 400 attendees. More than 15 experts will impart their expertise on a wide range of subjects, including the return of Plasma to privacy, the resolution of data availability challenges, blobs, recursive ZKP, dApps on Plasma, and much more.

The event’s primary themes include privacy enhancements, application use cases, and scalability solutions for Ethereum. Participants would learn about the most recent developments in Ethereum scaling beyond Rollups and investigate innovative strategies for safeguarding user privacy on the Ethereum network. Additionally, they will acquire an understanding of the potential applications of these technologies to address real-world issues.

INTMAX aspires to reaffirm its commitment to pioneering solutions that will assist Ethereum in achieving its long-term scalability objectives by participating in the EDCON Tokyo and PlasmaCon events. It is impossible to overstate the significance of events such as PlasmaCon, as they are specifically designed to address issues that can potentially advance the industry.

INTMAX has established a distinct position as a rapidly expanding
Ethereum layer two engine. The primary objective of INTMAX is to reduce the storage challenges and compute strain that most blockchains encounter. One of its measures is the deployment of five-byte on-chain metadata to verify the integrity of computations.

Renewed Emphasis on Plasma

Even though Rollups currently dominate the scaling discourse, Plasma aspires to make a comeback. To facilitate Ethereum’s attainment of Visa-level transaction volumes, Plasma was initially developed in 2017. Plasma is designated as a solution for off-chain transactions that do not enhance the blockchain.

The solution involves creating a unique construction connected to an existing blockchain, thereby enabling a significantly increased throughput. Plasma enables the Ethereum blockchain to continue managing smart contracts and ensuring an advanced layer of security by broadcasting only completed transactions, relying on the underlying blockchain of Ethereum.

In his blog post “Exit games for EVM valiums: the return of Plasma,” Vitalik Buterin has demonstrated a rekindled interest in Plasma.

“It is time to inform everyone that Plasma is not extinct—in fact, it is even more powerful than it was in 2018!” PlasmaCon convened an extraordinary group of visionaries and innovators who have revolutionized the entire technology sector. It is now time to revisit Plasma, Statelessness, and Privacy. Please join us in Tokyo on July 31! Leona Hioki, the co-founder of INTMAX, stated.
