President Biden Campaign to Hire Memes Expert

Aiming to speak the language of youth, President Biden’s campaign team is hiring a meme expert to manage its content and meme pages to connect with Gen Z voters.

The reelection campaign team of President Joe Biden is reportedly seeking a meme expert to appeal to Gen Z voters.

The Biden for President (BFP) campaign advertised a “Partner Manager” role, which entailed overseeing and coordinating “routine activities related to interacting with the most prominent content and meme websites on the internet” for a successful candidate.

Indeed, reports show that Biden’s camp’s remuneration package to its meme manager in Wilmington, Delaware, ranges from $65,000 to $85,000 annually, marginally higher than the mean salary for digital marketers in the United States.

As per the employment stipulations, the primary responsibility of the Biden memer would be to oversee and coordinate connections with podcasters, digital media organizations, and “meme pages spanning various social media platforms.”

Before this, Biden’s campaign utilized memes; in early 2022, it embraced the “Dark Brandon” laser eyes meme to portray the 81-year-old as technologically sophisticated.

Seth Meyers inquired about the Dark Brandon meme during his Late Night program appearance in February. “I resent the hell out of it,” he replied before donning a pair of dark aviators.

Biden once more donned the sunglasses and alluded to the persona to applause from the audience at a White House Correspondents’ Dinner in April.

This action seems to be the most recent endeavor by the oldest president in United States history to appeal to a younger demographic of electors.

Numerous Democrats have ostensibly reversed their positions on cryptocurrencies after presidential candidate Donald Trump officially endorsed them for electoral gain.

Conversely, Trump, from the opposing political stance, is not unfamiliar with caricatures. His mugshot went viral in August 2023, shortly after he was processed at the Fulton County Jail on his fourth indictment.

In December, his campaign team seized the opportunity to sell merchandise bearing the image, T-shirts, mugs, and a “MugShot” nonfungible token (NFT) collection.

After Trump’s pro-cryptocurrency remarks in early May, the MAGA memecoin, adorned with a Trump motif, rallied.
