The company reported a “degraded status” for Reddit.com on its status page at 1:16 p.m. PT. However, it has announced that its systems will be operational approximately one hour later. The company has determined that the issue was caused by a software update implemented on the platform.

In an email to TechCrunch, Reddit spokesperson Tim Rathschmidt stated, “Earlier today, we released an update that inadvertently affected platform stability.” “A fix has been implemented, and operations are now operational.”
