Robinhood Launches Solana Crypto Transfers for EU Users

As of today, Robinhood Crypto now lets users in the European Union send and receive cryptocurrency using Solana

On October 21, the site said that customers in the EU could now transfer Solana and get a 1% bonus on their deposit. A few weeks ago, Robinhood Crypto started letting European users use crypto transfers. This is why SOL transfers on Robinhood Crypto are important.

With this function, users can deposit and withdraw over 20 cryptocurrencies, such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, and USDC. All payments get a 1% bonus, and you can take advantage of this deal until November 30, 2024.

Robinhood grows its presence in the EU

Robinhood Crypto transfers are now available on the app, allowing users to buy and sell over 35 crypto assets. As a bonus, customers can bet SOL from within the app and earn 5.23% annually.

In May 2024, Robinhood Crypto introduced a new function called “staking.” It is one of the most important changes.

The platform lets crypto holders bet their tokens and shows plans for localized apps and crypto rewards. As it tried to grow in Europe, it also changed its learn and earn courses. It sets goals like making things more accessible, improving the user experience, and following the rules.

Since it started in December 2023, Robinhood Crypto EU has seen a huge increase in trades. This includes the meme coin dogfight, whose value greatly increased after being added to the trading app.

As for now, most users still keep and trade Bitcoin. The platform added support for spot BTC ETFs the day after the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission approved them in January 2024.

Most Robinhood Crypto users are in Poland, Italy, and Lithuania. In May, the SEC sent Robinhood Crypto a Wells Notice, which is important to note.
