The Ronin Ecosystem Grants initiative was implemented on January 16 as part of the network’s strategy to attract additional developers and enhance the capabilities and utilities of blockchain technology.
Grants To Be Distributed Among Developers, Waypoints
Developers and Waypoints, a crypto-based bridge service, will receive grants from the $10 million fund, according to the announcement.
The waypoint gas grants provide up to $20,000 in RON funding, while the builder grants offer up to $300,000 in Ronin tokens.
Milestone-based funding releases will be granted to approved developer teams and projects by their alignment with predetermined long-term objectives.
The funding will be used to cover critical expenses, such as development integrations, audits, and deployment. According to the organization’s grant website,

The grants are a component of a more comprehensive strategy to foster developer collaboration and establish the platform as a foundation for consumer DApps, DeFi protocols, and gaming.
It is anticipated that participating projects and app developers will address user or developer pain points, enroll new users, and increase onchain activity.
The objective of the comparatively lesser waypoint gas grants is to streamline user onboarding, improve the user experience, and cover gas costs for seamless blockchain interactions.
Attracting Web3 Developers To Ronin Blockchain
The review procedure for all applications will take up to four weeks, and the platform’s most recent grants program has no established deadline.
Furthermore, the Ronin Ecosystem Grants website and the Ronin Wallet will provide approved initiatives with increased online visibility.
Additional benefits include integration opportunities with Web3 games and ecosystem partners, as well as access to Ronin Builders Discord, which facilitates collaboration with teams, venture capitalists (VCs), and advisers.
Additionally, infrastructure and tooling providers will offer discounts to approved architects.
Projects that are submitting applications for multiple grant programs are required to submit a distinct application for each program.
