Salesforce said industry experts, developers, and customers will cooperate on innovation and acquire new skills at its first AI center in London
On Thursday, the cloud software firm from the United States, which is hosting 18,000 people at its annual London World Tour event, said a year ago that it would invest $4 billion in Britain over the next five years, including in the development of artificial intelligence.
According to Zahra Bahrololoumi, chief executive officer of Salesforce UK and Ireland, the company’s clients are enthusiastic about the advantages of artificial intelligence (AI).
Still, they are also apprehensive about the threats that are emerging.
In an interview with Reuters, she stated,
“No company will adopt artificial intelligence unless they can trust it, which is why we are so well positioned.”
She referred to Salesforce’s Einstein technology, which features a “Trust Layer” to ensure customers’ data is not compromised.
“We are sending a clear message to customers and partners on AI; we are deeply committed to working closely together so that you can reap the rewards of this transformative technology while ensuring it is a force for good,” she told reporters.
