A damaged Cybertruck in Seattle’s Central District drew brief attention as a tourist spot, complete with a makeshift memorial, before its removal earlier this week
It could be argued that Cybertruck proprietors desire attention but frequently receive it from critics who ridicule the vehicles.
People appear to derive particular pleasure from Cybertruck mishaps, such as the time in May when one arrived on Nantucket and became mired in the dunes.
It is perhaps unsurprising that a Cybertruck that was abandoned on the side of a busy thoroughfare in Seattle’s Central District has since become a tourist attraction.
Although its presence is uncertain, it remained long enough to captivate Redditors, who documented a temporary memorial constructed before the Cybertruck’s front bumper.
Jalopnik also reports that an individual generated a Google Maps pin entry for the vehicle, which was subsequently removed.
It appears that the truck was eventually removed on Monday, which concludes the mystery.
According to a photo posted on Reddit, the makeshift memorial was also removed, leaving only two squished barrier posts in its aftermath.
