According to Lookonchain data, SharpLink Gaming acquired an additional 20,279 Ethereum (ETH) on Thursday, which is valued at $68.38 million. SharpLink Gaming added 6,377 ETH, valued at $19.6 million, one day earlier.
SharpLink has amassed 111,609 ETH in the past 8 days, equivalent to $343.38 million, as per Lookonchain.
Just over a month ago, the Minneapolis-based online performance marketing company initiated the acquisition of Ethereum. The company had allocated 99.7% of its ETH holdings to staking protocols.
SharpLink Surpasses Ethereum Foundation, Becomes Largest Corporate ETH Holder
SharpLink became the world’s largest corporate holder of ETH by purchasing 74,656 ETH from July 7 to July 13, 2025, according to a press release issued on Tuesday.
The company’s aggressive accumulation strategy indicates a new phase of Ethereum adoption among institutions, underscoring the perception of ETH as a long-term strategic asset.
In the past 24 hours, Ethereum (ETH) has experienced a substantial increase, with a rise of over 8% to $3,421. The second-largest cryptocurrency saw significant gains over the past week, rising by 21.5%. At the time of publication, CoinMarketCap indicates that it is currently trading at $3,422.
“Institutional flows confirm this shift,” stated Jamie Elkaleh, Chief Marketing Officer at Bitget Wallet, in an interview with Cryptonews.
Elkaleh further stated that Ethereum’s present breakout indicates a change in how institutions evaluate digital assets, rather than merely bullish momentum. “The yield-generating infrastructure play is emerging as Ethereum.”
SBET’s stock price has gone up by 29%
Sharplink Gaming Inc. (SBET) rose 29.03% on Thursday, suggesting that institutional interest in ETH is rising. At the time of writing, Google Finance data indicates it is currently trading at $37.38 per share.
The stock has nearly doubled in value since the ETH treasury’s pivot a few weeks ago.
In a post on X, the organization declared that Ethereum is the foundation of the forthcoming global economy.
