A collaboration has been announced between Tech Mahindra and IBM to assist organizations in the responsible acceleration of generative AI (Gen AI) implementation
With the assistance of AI assistants, Tech Mahindra’s AI suite solutions and offerings will be integrated into IBM Watson, the organization’s AI and data platform, to provide enterprises with next-generation AI and governance solutions.
Customers can gain access to next-generation AI services by combining the capabilities of Tech Mahindra’s AI consulting and engineering services with the power of IBM Watson through this collaboration. This can facilitate process automation and organizations’ access to trusted data. Similarly, clients can construct reliable AI models to mitigate bias and risk.
Imagining AI in enterprises
In the current era of widespread adoption of Gen AI in the global business arena, organizations must explore novel and enhanced strategies for leveraging the technology to maintain their competitive edge. IBM and Tech Mahindra have demonstrated steadfast dedication to these endeavors by continuously advancing their artificial intelligence technologies.
Customers of Tech Mahindra can now leverage the capabilities of IBM Watson to gain access to a wide range of next-generation AI frameworks and solution architectures. This initiative aims to facilitate the development of responsible artificial intelligence while also encouraging the widespread implementation of AI in hybrid cloud and on-premises settings.
“At this time, businesses are attempting to revitalize themselves by integrating Gen AI technology while simultaneously implementing responsible AI practices,” says Kunal Purohit, Chief Digital Services Officer at Tech Mahindra.
“Our collaboration with IBM can advance organizations’ digital transformation, adoption of generational AI, and modernization, thereby fostering business expansion for our international clients.”
Tech Mahindra has established a virtual Watsonx Centre of Excellence (CoE) to facilitate the progress of its clients’ AI business capabilities. As a co-innovation hub, the CoE is staffed with a specialized group committed to maximizing the alliance by creating one-of-a-kind products and services that capitalize on their respective areas of expertise.
These collaborative offerings and solutions may enable organizations to scale and accelerate the impact of Generation AI while assisting them in achieving their objectives of developing machine learning models using open-source frameworks. Subsequently, organizations may experience an increase in productivity and enhanced efficiency.
Exploiting untapped market prospects
Tech Mahindra and IBM have maintained a robust partnership for over two decades, characterized by establishing dedicated CoEs and co-invested laboratories. The implementation of security measures, blockchain, IBM Cloud, and Watson IoT by Tech Mahindra has facilitated the provision of enhanced innovative value to the organization’s clientele.
Similarly, the collaboration has resulted in both organizations propelling forward hybrid cloud solutions that leverage the capabilities of artificial intelligence. They continue to address complex business challenges in sectors including manufacturing, telecommunications, financial services, insurance, retail, and healthcare as part of this relationship.
General Manager of the IBM Ecosystem Kate Woolley emphasizes, “Our collaboration with Tech Mahindra is anticipated to broaden Watsonx’s reach, enabling even more clients to develop reliable AI as we seek to combine our technology and expertise to support enterprise use cases, including code modernization, digital labor, and customer service.”
Established upon a bedrock of trust, transparency, and explainability, Gen AI can serve as an innovation catalyst and uncover novel market prospects.
