The much-anticipated Tesla Diner & Drive-In debuted at 4:20 p.m. Monday in Hollywood, California.
It combines classic nostalgia and futurism with the automaker’s fast-charging network.
Tesla drivers can charge their EVs and order hamburgers, hot dogs, and other diner food at the Tesla Diner & Drive-In (Eater shared in full).
According to Not a Tesla App, the diner has Tesla-branded items, an Optimus robot, and two 45-foot LED movie screens to attract more than Tesla owners.
The diner, which has 80 v4 Supercharger stalls and a drive-in movie theater that syncs with Tesla speakers, may become a Hollywood landmark.
Long lineups Monday morning signal the diner will draw crowds for a while.
Tesla CEO Elon Musk considered expanding the restaurant worldwide before its opening.
“If our retro-futuristic diner turns out well, which I think it will, @Tesla will establish these in major cities worldwide, as well as at Supercharger sites on long-distance routes,” Musk wrote on X.
