TikTok Expands Creator Subscription Options

TikTok’s redesigned Subscription feature is now available to creators in select regions, including Brazil, France, Germany, Spain, the U.K., Indonesia, Italy, Japan, South Korea, and the U.S

The business will add more markets to the function in the next few weeks.

TikTok said in March that it would change the name of its LIVE Subscription monetization tool to “Subscription” and soon make it available to artists who aren’t live.

TikTok’s answer to Patreon is Subscription, a service that lets creators share exclusive material with subscribers who pay for it. Instagram subscriptions and YouTube channel memberships are similar to TikTok’s features. These services help creators make more money by giving users access to extra material and perks.

The change means regular creators can now offer paying subscribers unique material and other benefits. Makers can offer three levels of users at three different price points. Each level comes with its own set of benefits for a monthly fee.

People who pay for the service can see movies, LIVEs, and notes only available to paying users. As a bonus, subscribers can use extra contact channels, such as Sub Space, a private area where creators can talk to their subscribers.

Subscribers can also get unique stickers to use during LIVEs and badges that show up on their pages and in comments next to their names.

Creators can also give their communities unique benefits made just for them. In an email, a TikTok representative said that customized perks are extra benefits that artists can pick from a list that TikTok already makes. Some of these are shout-outs, performance requests, behind-the-scenes movies, the ability to play games together, and more.

You must be at least 18 years old, have at least 10,000 friends, and have had at least 100,000 video views in the last month to use Subscription. The creators’ accounts must also be in good shape.
