After Microsoft appointed Mustafa Suleyman, the CEO of Inflection AI, as the head of a newly established consumer AI unit and engaged several of his employees in March, the Competition and Markets Authority in Britain has been soliciting input.
The regulator must determine whether it will refer the transaction for a more comprehensive investigation by September 11.
Microsoft did not immediately respond to a request for comment from Reuters.
