WhatsApp to Introduce New Themes

WhatsApp users are long accustomed to the green look that covers the personal messaging software

Nonetheless, the personal messaging application is rumored to be nearing completion of an iOS application update that would enable users to personalize their WhatsApp experience through the inclusion of various themes.

According to WABetaInfo, WhatsApp is reportedly planning to add a new default conversation theme feature in a future update of the application.

As of now, the feature is under development; it was discovered during the TestFlight beta program.

WhatsApp to Introduce New Themes

How will the theme function of WhatsApp be implemented?

According to the new report, WhatsApp is reportedly in the process of developing a feature that will enable users to modify the default color of their conversation bubbles.

Additionally, the Meta-owned company is presently working to enhance this functionality by adding the option for users to select their preferred default theme in the WhatsApp beta for iOS 24.11.10.70.

Reportedly, WhatsApp is developing four additional conversation theme options for a future version of the application. When users select a new chat theme, their wallpaper and bubble color will be modified to correspond with the new theme’s color scheme.

Users will shortly be able to generate AI-generated profile pictures via WhatsApp:

An additional recent report from WABetainfo suggested that WhatsApp may soon implement a function that enables users to create profile pictures using artificial intelligence-generated images.

The feature was initially discovered in the WhatsApp beta update version 2.24.11.17 for Android.

Users will be required to input a text prompt into the AI image generator, which will subsequently generate an individualized profile picture according to the information provided (as depicted in a shared screenshot).

Users who are concerned about the potential misuse of images or prefer not to share confidential photos on social media or WhatsApp may find this feature especially appealing.

In addition, a security feature already integrated into WhatsApp prevents contacts from capturing screenshots of profile photos, thereby protecting the privacy of users even further.
