WWDC 2024: Highlights of Some Innovations by Apple

The WWDC 2024 event by Apple started today, and the company introduced some new tech and features.

Apple Intelligence

Apple is utilizing Apple Intelligence to improve its existing software by leveraging the power of generative models.

The company also disclosed privacy protections for Apple Intelligence and Private Cloud Compute to assist users in maintaining control over their data.

Siri is becoming increasingly intelligent and will become more “personal, relevant, and natural.” Siri revisions were demonstrated to enhance the virtual assistant’s ability to cross-reference information and respond to conversational language, thereby increasing its utility to users. In addition to the iPhone, Siri’s modifications will be implemented on the Mac and iPad.

Apple Intelligence offers proofreading and revision capabilities, including summaries, editing, and tones, to assist you in writing emails and other documents. Additionally, a clever reply option will be implemented. Summaries will be included in emails, in addition to identifying priority communications.

Apple is also collaborating with ChatGPT, meaning Siri may access ChatGPT to enhance responses. However, it will first request user consent.
