Tesla systematically deletes its online content, raising concerns about transparency and digital accountability
It appears that the Ministry of Truth has been preoccupied with Tesla. Tesla has deleted all of its blog posts before 2019. A few astute individuals, including correspondents at Electrek, observed this.
The blog posts are a digital history of the company, encompassing a wide range of topics, including the initial master plan of CEO Elon Musk, the first Autopilot fatality in a Model S, and declarations regarding the capabilities of its electric vehicles.
The company or Musk has not provided the reason for this.
Archive.org continues to maintain a record, which is fortunate for us.
This is not the first time that Tesla has attempted to alter its history.
A post that advocated for the utilization of radar as a critical sensor for vehicle safety was removed by the organization several years ago. In 2021, the organization discontinued using radar in its electric vehicles.
